What You Will Do
  • Develop and implement automation for tooling to integrate security tools to improve stakeholder experience
  • Define and track key metrics to measure compliance with security standards, and create reports for various stakeholders
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide actionable recommendations for remediation in applications
  • Manage and maintain security tools, including those for static and dynamic code analysis and vulnerability scanning
  • Support Engineering teams in risk identification and remediation, including security architecture reviews and threat modeling
  • Contribute to the development of security policies and standards, and ensure their effective implementation
  • Independently deliver and/or collaborate on the preparation of reports, briefings, and documentation
  • Recommend best practices for cloud security, especially Web Application Firewall rules
Your Qualifications

  • 5+ year experience in Application Security
  • Track record of delivering technical projects, and implementing security products in a highly technical environment
  • Proven experience with web application security and microservice architecture
  • Hands-on experience with one major Cloud Infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Web Application Firewall (WAF) principles
  • Experience creating data visualizations and reports using tools like Snowflake and Looker, with a foundational understanding of SQL
  • Advanced understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and techniques
Nice to Have
  • Effective Communication both verbally and in writing
  • Detail-oriented, critical thinker who excels both in collaboration and independent work
  • Relevant industry certifications from SANS, ISC2, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Understanding of compliance standards and data regulation requirements strongly preferred
  • Previous experience working with peers asynchronously
