Job summary

Grifols seeks a proactive scientist to lead immunoassay integration in automated systems at our Derio (Bilbao) site. You will manage experimental work, travel to partner sites, and contribute to quality documentation while guiding a small lab team.

Requirements include a health sciences degree, 3+ years lab experience, and strong ENGLISH communication. Occasional travel and a permanent contract offer long-term opportunities within Grifols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health sciences or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience.
• Knowledge or experience in immunoassays and/or IVD devices development desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English (CAE level).
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and manage system integration experiential work across automated immunoassay platforms.
• Travel and supervise partner sites for system integration or assay technology understanding.
• Contribute to product lifecycle documentation including SOPs and IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Lead and mentor Lab Associates/technicians and ensure quality objectives are met.
