AstraZeneca in Barcelona seeks a hands-on AI governance engineer who can turn governance into code and ship auditable AI systems for a regulated enterprise. You will design multi-agent architectures, route models to respect sovereignty, build RAG pipelines, and implement governance as code while delivering production-ready solutions that align with global regulatory standards.

• Experience delivering AI solutions in a regulated enterprise.
• Proven ability to design governance controls and embed resilience in code and architectures.
• Ability to move from idea to working proof-of-concept in days.
• Expertise in governance and regulatory compliance as core professional discipline.
• Hands-on with multi-agent architectures, RAG pipelines, and production AI.
• Experience implementing data sovereignty and cross-border governance patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end technical design for AI solutions across enabling functions—HR, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Audit, Compliance.
• Make and document model strategy decisions, integration patterns, and tooling with clear rationale.
• Identify and build shared components and governance instrumentation for rapid delivery.
• Translate sovereignty policy into infrastructure such as model routing, data residency, and hosting decisions.
• Design and ship multi-agent LLM systems with orchestration and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Build governed RAG pipelines with auditing and guardrails from data ingestion to output.
• Deliver POCs quickly with clear progression gates to pilot and production environments.
• Implement a comprehensive governance-as-code stack including model registration and approval workflows.
• Engineer multi-jurisdictional compliance to meet EU regulations and sector-specific resilience expectations.
• Incorporate resilience and chaos testing into architecture with defined tolerances.
• Own delivery lifecycle: CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning.
• Develop data pipelines, feature stores, and data products with governance and lineage controls.
