D.med Software S.L.U., based in Málaga, is expanding its embedded software team to accelerate medical device cybersecurity and compliant software development. The Technical Lead Embedded Software will shape architecture, mentor engineers, and coordinate cross-functional work with hardware, QA and regulatory teams.

The role demands 8+ years in software development, 3+ years in leadership, and solid experience with IEC 62304 and ISO 13485.

Formación

• 8+ years in software development, including 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience with safety-critical, regulated medical device software.
• Strong architecture and design pattern knowledge.
• Experience with testing frameworks and CI/CD.
• Regulatory documentation management experience.
• Familiarity with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of software for medical devices
• Coordinate and mentor a team of software engineers
• Collaborate with hardware, QA, regulatory and industrial design teams
• Oversee the full development lifecycle: requirements, architecture, implementation, integration, and validation
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, etc.)
• Participate in code reviews, risk analyses, and architecture evaluations
• Manage technical project planning: estimates, priorities, risks, milestones, and deliverables
• Ensure software quality through the implementation of testing and automation practices
• Interact directly with clients to define requirements and technical solutions
