D.med Software S.L.U. in Málaga invites a skilled Mid Embedded Software Developer to join our team.

You will develop and debug low-level real-time firmware in C, contribute to board bring-up, and design protocols for medical devices. You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical and controls colleagues, write software specifications, and help validate software against MISRA and embedded Linux requirements in a cross-functional environment.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional firmware/software development experience.
• Experience with embedded Linux/Linux application, driver, or kernel development.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M processors.
• Experience with MISRA standard.
• Experience with communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, etc.).
• Experience developing device drivers for peripherals (ADC, GPIO, PWM).
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication.

Mid Embedded Software Developer

Your responsibilities

• Develop and debug low-level real-time and low-latency firmware in C.
• Board bring-up, debug, test, and code optimization.
• Design and implement protocols for system communications of existing and new products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, controls).
• Write software specification and design documents.

Your profile

• 3+ years of professional firmware/software development experience.
• Experience in embedded Linux/Linux application, driver, or kernel development is a plus
• Familiar with the embedded microprocessor design process: compilers, debuggers, IDE and source control
• Experience with communication protocols
• Experience developing device drivers using hardware interfaces: ADC, GPIO, PWM, UART, SPI, I2C, etc.
• Experience with digital/analog hardware development
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M processors.
• Experience with MISRA standard
• Fluent in English, excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Effectively able to interact with technicians and other departments and suppliers
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and superior follow-up and follow-through skills
