Ic Resources in Barcelona seeks an experienced Lead Electronics Engineer to own a next-generation hardware platform and lead a high-performing engineering team. This hands-on role spans system architecture down to PCB detail, collaborating with FPGA and software engineers to deliver a complete system.

You will mentor engineers, drive high-speed design and integration of PCIe, Ethernet, DDR5 and NVMe interfaces, and tackle challenging hardware debugging in lab settings.

Formación

• Leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Expertise in high-speed digital design and PCB development.
• Strong signal integrity and transmission-line theory knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with PCIe, Ethernet, DDR5, SerDes.
• Experience with AMD/Xilinx FPGAs.
• Experience with NVIDIA GPUs and HPC is a plus.

We’re looking for an experienced Lead Electronics Engineer to take technical ownership of a challenging, next-generation hardware platform and play a key role in building a high-performing engineering team around it. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role. You’ll operate at both system level and down in the detail - shaping architectures, solving complex hardware problems, debugging high-speed interfaces in the lab, and working closely with FPGA and software engineers to bring the complete system together.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Technical ownership and system architecture of complex, high-speed platforms
• High-speed digital design and complex PCB development
• FPGA and high-speed transceiver integration
• PCIe, Ethernet, DDR5 and NVMe/M.2 integration
• Clocking, timing and high-speed interconnects
• System integration, validation and hands‑on hardware debug
• Technical leadership, mentoring and development of the engineering team

What we’re looking for

• A strong track record of leading technically demanding projects and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Extensive experience in high-speed digital design and complex PCB development
• Strong knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity and transmission-line theory
• Hands‑on experience with several of PCIe, Ethernet, DDR/DDR5 and SerDes
• Proven experience taking complex electronic systems through integration, validation and hardware debug
• Strong experience with AMD/Xilinx FPGAs
• Experience with NVIDIA GPUs and high-performance computing would be highly valuable
