Job summary

Northrop & Johnson is seeking a Lead Deckhand for a 46m private/charter yacht. The candidate must hold a Yacht Master certificate and be able to stand bridge watch. You will confidently drive an 11.5m tender with triple outboards and oversee deck operations.

The vessel will winter in Spain and then head to the Baltic for summer (2027). Start is November 1st with a 4/1 schedule and a crew of 11. Visa options include B/1 preferential, with Schengen if applicable; STCW and ENG1 are required.

Qualifications

• Lead deckhand on a 46m private/charter vessel.
• Must hold Yacht Master certification.
• Able to stand bridge watch.
• Confidently drive an 11.5m tender with triple outboards.

Responsibilities

• Stand bridge watch as Lead Deckhand.
• Operate and maneuver the 11.5m tender with triple outboards.
• Maintain safety and upkeep of deck operations on a 46m yacht.
