Job summary

A-Z Yachting Ltd seeks a Stew/Deck/Engineer to join a 40m+ private sailing yacht based in Spain. Start: beginning of October. Caribbean for the winter with regatta and owner use; Med for summer 2027. Permanent role with a small, multinational crew.

Open to a couple with a Chief Stew or First Mate. Role involves interior and deck duties, guest service, and engineering support. Requirements include sailing vessel experience, fluent English, non-smoker, and valid visa options where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience as a deck/stew or deck/engineer on sailing vessels is preferred.
• Sailing experience is essential.
• Confident with general interior and deck duties.
• AEC1 with engineering background is advantageous.
• Fluent in English.
• Non-smoker.
• B1 Visa is preferred.
• Schengen visa and Seaman's Discharge Book for non-EU passport holders.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and deck duties on a 40m+ private sailing yacht.
• Support guest operations with professionalism and discretion.

Program:Caribbean for the winter with regatta and owner use. Med for the summer 2027.

Requirements:

• Experience as a deck/stew or deck/engineer on sailing vessels is preferred.

• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and great team player are of importance.
