Job summary

The Carlos Simón Foundation in Valencia, Spain seeks a Senior Computational Biologist to lead advanced computational analyses for the DECIDUA project, integrating single-cell, spatial and multi-omics data. You will develop novel analytical methods and help manage and reuse omics data.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with biologists and clinicians, publish results, and shape the Foundation's computational strategy.

Qualifications

• PhD plus 5+ years postdoc/industry experience in computational biology.
• Proven track record analyzing large-scale sc/snRNA-seq data and multi-dataset integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the computational strategy and execution of the DECIDUA project with the PI.
• Integrate and analyze large sc/snRNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics and multi-omic datasets.
• Identify cell states, molecular programs and signatures through advanced analyses.
• Develop and validate predictive models using molecular and clinical data.
• Build reproducible pipelines and contribute to data governance and reuse of omics data.
• Mentor junior scientists and publish results with the Foundation’s researchers.
