Job summary

Schneider Digital seeks a Lead, Cloud Operations to operate, maintain, and improve AWS cloud services, including EKS clusters, in a hybrid Barcelona setup. You will drive IaC pipelines, automate day-to-day tasks, and collaborate across IT to ensure high-quality cloud delivery.

You will work on security, incident management, and continuous improvement, with a focus on containerization, automation, and workload standardization across multiple teams in Schneider Electric.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in AWS services.
• Windows/Linux administrator 8 years.
• DevOps experience with Terraform, Python, Bash.
• EKS and Kubernetes experience.
• Administrator of IT infrastructure: OS Windows/Linux.
• Management of AWS services: EC2, EBS, S3, LB, SSM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, etc.
• Automation: PowerShell scripting, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Bash.
• DevOps: GitHub, GitHub Actions.
• Basic Networking knowledge: VPC, SG, FW rules, routing.
• ITIL processes knowledge.
• AWS SysOps Administrator.
• DevOps certification.
• EKS, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Understand cloud infrastructure and its relation to other IT layers.
• Ensure security of IT systems.
• Support cloud infrastructure projects and demands.
• Maintain, operate and manage cloud infrastructures.
• Manage IaC pipelines for Cloud services creation and standardization.
• Support and upgrade EKS clusters.
• Improve cloud operations with automation and standardization.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure high-quality infra services.
• Daily service follow-up and incident management.
• Resolve incidents and manage P1/P2 as needed.
• Reduce number and duration of incidents in cloud.
• Deliver user demands and service requests.
• Develop automations to gain day-to-day efficiency.
• Standardize services by migrating to IaC and EKS.
