Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. is seeking experienced systems engineers to join the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) team. You will build, operate, and scale high‑availability services across EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda and Bedrock for EU customers, collaborating with global AWS teams.

The role emphasizes automation, day‑to‑day operational improvements, 24x7 on‑call duties, and mentoring teammates. Candidates should have Linux, scripting, and SRE experience, with relocation support within the EU.

Formación

• Experience in Linux OS and network troubleshooting.
• Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language.
• Experience in Systems engineering, site reliability engineering, building and operating systems at scale.
• EU national and residing in the EU to operate the ESC.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee ongoing operations and expansion of the ESC.
• Collaborate with global AWS teams to improve availability, latency and efficiency.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations to resolve incidents.
• Develop and test automation scripts to improve workflows.
• Educate service teams about the European Sovereign Cloud.
