Flying Bark Productions, a renowned animation studio, seeks a 3D Animation Lead to guide a team of animators on a high-profile show. You will be the primary contact between production and supervisors, shaping creative and technical direction.

The role demands strong leadership, deep Maya expertise, and the ability to solve complex challenges while keeping deadlines. You will mentor juniors, collaborate with other departments, and ensure the show's animation output remains top quality.

Formación

• Previous experience mentoring or leading a team.
• Thorough knowledge of Maya.
• Understanding of physical motion, weight, balance, texture and form.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of animators on a show.
• Be the key contact for production and supervisors; maintain clear communication and adapt to changes.
• Set and manage team assignments with the animation supervisor.
• Understand workflow templates and documentation; share with team as needed.
• Work with technology teams to ensure department tools are available and properly set up.
• Attend dailies and present the team's work; provide regular feedback to ensure on-time delivery.
