mAbxience in Madrid is seeking an experienced Launch Manager to lead global product introductions from development through market entry. You will align cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and ensure readiness across Regulatory, Manufacturing, Quality and Commercial units.

The role demands strong leadership, excellent communication, and a track record of managing complex launches in pharma. You will collaborate with CMOs, suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver launches on time,

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
  • PM certification (PMP) is a plus.
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain desirable.
  • 5+ years in a similar, preferably pharmaceutical, role.
  • Experience in cross-functional environments with Regulatory, Commercial, Operations and Planning.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages a bonus.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

We are currently looking for a Launch Manager to join our team in Madrid. This is a strategic and highly visible role, designed for a professional who can lead complex global launch initiatives, align cross-functional stakeholders and ensure product readiness from development through to market introduction.

The Launch Manager will play a critical role in driving launch excellence across internal teams, external partners and CMOs, ensuring that each new product is introduced on time, within scope and in full compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive and influential professional with strong project leadership capabilities and a proven track record in complex, cross-functional environments.

This person will be responsible for aligning activities across multiple functional areas within mAbxience to ensure the successful and timely launch of new products at a global level, always maintaining focus on business priorities, customer commitments and operational readiness.

The challenge!

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage global launch activities for new pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely and successful execution.
  • Develop and implement robust launch plans aligned with corporate strategy, business objectives and market expectations.
  • Define project timelines, milestones, deliverables and resource allocation to ensure launch readiness across all functions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including Regulatory, Commercial, Operations, Quality, Pharmacovigilance, Legal, IP, Planning, MSAT, Supply Chain and Customer Service.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination between internal teams, external partners and CMOs, ensuring smooth communication and flawless execution.
  • Track launch progress, monitor critical path activities and proactively identify, assess and mitigate risks.
  • Partner with Regulatory Affairs to ensure timely regulatory submissions and approvals.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure manufacturing and supply chain readiness for launch.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to guarantee product quality and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Engage with Planning and Customer Service teams to ensure demand forecasting accuracy, inventory readiness and customer service level compliance.
  • Ensure the availability, quality and consistency of launch-related information and key deliverables.
  • Plan and manage the introduction of new products into manufacturing facilities and to customers.
  • Coordinate and schedule product transfers from external sites to mAbxience manufacturing plants.
  • Liaise with customers before, during and after product transfer, product introduction and first delivery, ensuring expectations are understood and successfully met.
  • Assess packaging needs and define the most suitable packaging strategy in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Direct and monitor launch projects in accordance with company priorities and customer timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, SHE and all relevant regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Identify and promote end-to‑end supply chain improvement opportunities, including cost optimization and process standardization initiatives.
  • Support supply operations excellence by identifying inefficiencies and improvement opportunities across manufacturing and supply activities.
  • Collaborate on operational topics such as planning, returns, sampling management, serialization and data governance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of launch methodologies, governance and best practices.
What do you need?

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Life Sciences or Business Administration.
  • Project Management certification such as PMP will be considered a plus.
  • A Master’s degree in Supply Chain is highly desirable.
  • More than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional environments with teams such as Regulatory, Commercial, Operations, Quality and Planning.
  • Solid track record managing complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Adaptability, resilience and comfort working in fast-changing environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • High customer orientation and strong relationship-building capabilities.
  • Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing support activities.
  • Knowledge of GMP and SHE regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of medication registries.
  • Solid logistics knowledge within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience working with SAP R3 and APO.
  • Fluent Spanish and English.
  • Additional languages will be considered an advantage.
  • Availability to travel when required.
