A leading research university in Spain is seeking candidates for a role focused on translational research to develop novel cancer therapies. Responsibilities include conducting preclinical studies, supporting lab organization, and performing molecular assays. Formación

  • Demonstrated experience with mouse models; FELASA certification required.
  • Strong hands-on skills in molecular biology; experience with RNA techniques is highly valued.
  • Ability to work independently, troubleshoot, and maintain accurate records.

Responsabilidades

  • Conduct in vivo preclinical studies, including generating and monitoring tumor xenografts.
  • Perform molecular and cellular assays to characterize and validate novel RNA therapeutic targets.
  • Support lab and project organization, including biobank maintenance and inventory management.

Conocimientos

Experience with mouse models
Hands-on skills in molecular biology
Good communication skills in English
Ability to troubleshoot

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct in vivo preclinical studies, including generating and monitoring tumor xenografts and administering RNA‑based treatments. Experience with colon orthotopic models is a strong advantage.
  • Perform molecular and cellular assays to characterize and validate novel RNA therapeutic targets.
  • Contribute to protocol optimization and development of new experimental approaches.
  • Support lab and project organization, including biobank maintenance, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
Requirements
  • Science degree, technical diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience with mouse models (FELASA certification required).
  • Strong hands‑on skills in molecular biology; experience with RNA techniques is highly valued.
  • Ability to work independently, troubleshoot, and maintain accurate records.
