Job summary

Neotalent Conclusion is hiring an L3 Network Engineer to join our teams and work with a leading international client in a global, mission-critical technology environment. The role offers a hybrid working model in Barcelona and international project exposure.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in network engineering, strong TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS skills, and hands-on experience with major vendors. Excellent English and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in network engineering within Enterprise or Service Provider environments.
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining complex network infrastructures.
• Strong expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba, Juniper, or similar enterprise networking technologies.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or Cisco DNAC.
• Strong knowledge of VPNs, firewalls, and network security technologies.
• Experience with network automation using Ansible and/or Python.
• Advanced troubleshooting and fault isolation capabilities.
• High level of English (mandatory).
• Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Cisco CCNP, CCIE, Palo Alto, or equivalent certifications valued.

Responsibilities

• Participate in network architecture evolution, upgrades, and improvement initiatives.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including configurations, incidents, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and transformation projects.
• Participate in the on-call service, with a maximum frequency of one week per month (including weekends).
