Responsabilidades

  • Provide first-level support to ISP clients, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Investigate and resolve OSI Layer 1-2 issues across fiber infrastructure.
  • Manage trouble tickets using internal systems.

Conocimientos

Hands-on experience with Huawei network equipment
Understanding of IP and MPLS networking concepts
Familiarity with fiber optic infrastructure
Strong communication skills
Fluent in Spanish or English

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support to ISP clients (troubleshooting, diagnostics, ticket handling).
  • Investigate and resolve OSI Layer 1-2 issues across active fiber infrastructure, transmission and IP/MPLS networks
  • Open, manage, and escalate trouble tickets using internal systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for efficient incident resolution.
  • Maintain clear documentation of faults and solutions.

Skills / Must Have:

  • Hands-on experience with Huawei network equipment.
  • Understanding of IP and MPLS networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with fiber optic infrastructure and associated physical layer issues.
  • Strong communication and ticketing/reporting skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish or English
