Corpay in Madrid is seeking a KYC Compliance Analyst to mitigate AML and financial crime risk through thorough due diligence and KYC checks. The role sits in Cross Borders and reports to the Onboarding Manager.

You will review client documentation, conduct due diligence, and escalate findings as needed while collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen controls and support business growth. Spanish fluency is expected; additional languages are a plus.

Formación

  • 2+ years in Financial Crime Compliance/KYC with AML/CTF understanding.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional liaison.
  • Experience working with C-suite and global teams is a plus.
  • Ability to identify trends and assess risk scores.

  • Perform due diligence using corporate records and public sources.
  • Verify KYC documentation and conduct risk assessments.
  • Identify high-risk relationships and perform Enhanced Due Diligence.

  • Contribute to process improvements and policy updates.

Your roleWhat you'll be doingWhat We NeedCorpay is currently looking to hire a KYC Compliance Analyst on a permanent basis within our Corpay division. This position falls under our Cross Borders line of business and is based from our Madrid office. This is key Compliance role focused on mitigating AML and Financial Crime risk through thorough due diligence and KYC checks. The role involves reviewing client documentation, investigating complex entities, and escalating findings, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. As part of the Compliance team, the KYC Analyst collaborates with stakeholders to support business growth while maintaining high compliance standards, identifying risks, and enhancing department processes to strengthen the business’s defences against financial crime, money laundering and terrorist financing. You will report into the Onboarding Manager and regularly collaborate with other teams across the division.How We WorkAs a KYC Compliance Analyst, Corpay will set you up for success by providing:Assigned workspace in the Madrid officeCompany-issued equipmentFormal, hands-on trainingRole ResponsibilitiesConducting Know Your Customer (“KYC”) reviews for the onboarding of new clients, as well as periodic and trigger event reviews of existing clients and accounts’ management.Performing due diligence on clients including obtaining corporate records, information verification through public sources and various third-party vendors.Verifying KYC documentation and perform the risk assessment.Identifying indicators of higher risk relationships and conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (“EDD”) (e.g., high-risk industry, Politically Exposed Persons (“PEP”) or Sanctions linked to customer’s nature of business).Evaluating negative media screening and measure their risks.Participating in project work and contribute to the development of internal processes, guidance, and procedures.Qualifications & SkillsUniversity degree preferred or equivalent work experience.2+ years of experience in Financial Crime Compliance/KYC with clear understanding of AML/CTF regulations, requirements, and best practices.Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with other departments. Experience working alongside C-suite executives and global teams.Ability to identify trends and inconsistencies, including interpreting alerts, assessing risk scores and entity types and knowledge of commonly known high-risk industries, red flags, typologies, and applicable EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) is an asset.Strong writing, research, and investigation skills; capability to document relevant information clearly, structured, and comprehensively.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work as a strong team player in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Spanish speaker, Italian and German are a plus.Benefits & PerksCompetitive salaryPaid annual leave plus public holidaysFree access to LinkedIn Learning, with thousands of courses to support ongoing professional and personal developmentPay TransparencyThe salary range for this position is €35,000 – €40,000 gross per year. The final offer will be determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including relevant skills, professional experience, and qualifications.
