Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments, with a focus on automation, tooling, and incident management.

You will manage incidents end-to-end, implement observability through Grafana/Prometheus, onboard new clients, and build automation to reduce manual work while ensuring scalable performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years operating Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Confident debugging complex systems from app to infra.
• Experience with a public cloud provider (Azure or AWS).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across clouds.
• Work with observability tooling to keep alerts actionable.
• Manage incidents end-to-end, including RCA and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients on the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual work.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale with demand.
