AgileEngine, LLC. seeks an Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds. You will focus on automation, tooling, and incident management to keep services reliable and scalable.

You will work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts, maintain runbooks, and onboard new clients onto the platform. Strong Linux skills and production Kubernetes experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years operating Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Experience with a public cloud provider (Azure or AWS).
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex systems from app to infra.
• Knowledge of observability tools like Grafana/Prometheus is a plus.
• Scripting in Python or Java is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code (Helm, Terraform) is a plus.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments, including automation, tooling, and incident management.

MUST HAVES

• Hands-on experience of at least 4 years operating Kubernetes in production, ideally with Service Mesh.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Confident debugging and troubleshooting complex systems, from the application layer through to lower-level infrastructure.
• Experience working with a public cloud provider, preferably Azure or AWS.

NICE TO HAVES

• Working knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and Tempo is a plus.
• Scripting or coding in Python or Java is a strong plus.
• CI/CD, infrastructure as code such as Helm or Terraform is a plus.
• Financial services background is not required.
