Welocalize, Inc. is seeking a native-level Korean speaker to join a confidential, large-scale AI and consumer technology programme for a major global client.

This hands-on, on-site role combines evaluating a pre-release AI model in Korean and testing how it performs on client devices — a smartphone and smart glasses — to ensure accuracy and usability before release. You’ll work with a linguist and tester in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Native-level Korean, written and spoken daily use.
• Comfort with a smartphone and a laptop on iOS and Android.
• Sharp eye for detail and objective judgment.
• Ability to work independently, follow test scripts, and explain issues in English.
• Experience in software/app testing or localization QA is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Review pre-release AI model output in Korean and judge accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, and overall quality—whether a native speaker would say it this way.
• Test the Korean experience against English: confirm feature parity and full user journey with non-English input.
• Spot display or localization errors and untranslated strings.
• Write up issues clearly with steps, device/OS/locale/build ID, and supporting evidence; re-test after fixes.
• Share perspective as a native speaker on navigation and usability.
• Work on-site in Welocalize office in a private, secure area; remote work isn’t possible for this programme.
• Support other linguistic projects as needed.
