KNIT STUDIO LAB is seeking a hands-on Knitwear Designer / Product Developer in Barcelona. You will drive the full creative and development process, translating runway references into commercial knitwear for international brands.

The role requires a keen fashion eye, strong product sensitivity, and the ability to switch aesthetic codes quickly across different womenswear directions. Office-based in Barcelona.

Formación

• Trend, runway and market research.
• Development of knitwear concepts and collections.
• CADs and technical specifications.
• Yarn, stitch and color research.
• Working with different gauges, constructions and knit techniques.
• Adapting concepts to the DNA and commercial needs of each brand.
• Reviewing samples and identifying what needs to be corrected or improved.
• Working closely with development and production teams in Asia.
• Supporting collection preparation and presentations.

Responsabilidades

• Translate trends and references into relevant knitwear products.
• Develop and present knitwear concepts and collections.
• Prepare CADs and tech specs for suppliers.
• Research yarns, stitches and colors for each collection.
• Collaborate across various gauges and techniques with producers.
