Ebury Malaga is seeking a Junior Treasury Operations Analyst to join the Treasury Operations Team. In this hybrid role, you’ll support daily reconciliations, handle 800+ accounts across 100+ currencies, and help ensure accurate cash reporting.

You’ll need strong Excel skills, be a fast learner, and able to work under deadlines in English. The role offers mentorship, competitive pay, and a central Malaga office with hybrid flexibility.

Responsabilidades

• Work with the wider treasury function on daily operations.
• Support reconciliation of 800+ accounts in 100+ currencies.
• Execute daily trade reconciliations across FX types and counterparties per EMIR.
• Support group bank account reconciliations including client collections, LP settlements, payout, treasury, trade finance, SPV and cover accounts.
• Daily monitoring of trade populations and settlements.
• Manage discrepancies across trade details between internal systems.
• Controls over internal vs external balances.
• Detect, analyze, and elevate discrepancies between external and internal cash flows and balances.
• Execute daily internal control checks to ensure complete data in systems.
• Ad-hoc, weekly and monthly reporting of all treasury positions.
• Document and support processes for audits.

Junior Treasury Operations Analyst

Ebury Malaga Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week

This position will be part of the Treasury Operations Team and will play a key role in the financial reconciliations of Ebury. It will report to the Treasury Operations Reconciliation Manager.

What you’ll do

• This position will work with the wider treasury function and will play a central role in the daily operations of the department.
• Supporting the financial reconciliation function ensuring the adequate reconciliation and reporting of 800+ accounts in 100+ currencies.
• Execution of daily trade reconciliation across multiple FX transaction types and counterparties in line with EMIR requirements.
• Support to Ebury’s Group Bank accounts reconciliations including:
• Client collections accounts
• Lp settlements accounts
• Payout accounts
• Corporate Treasury Accounts
• Trade Finance and SPV accounts
• Cover accounts
• Daily monitoring and controls over trade populations and settlements.
• Management of discrepancies across trade details between internal systems.
• Controls over internal vs external balances.
• Detect, analyse, correct and elevate if needed possible discrepancies between external and internal cash flows and balances.
• Execute daily internal control checks to ensure there is no missing information in the systems.
• Ad-hoc, weekly and monthly reporting of all treasury positions.
• Document and control of processes facilitating the audit processes.
• Supporting function in external audit.

What you’ll need

• Team player, fast learner, able to multitask and prioritise workload appropriately. We are looking for an individual with drive and passion.
• High level in Microsoft Excel or GoogleSheet is a must.
• Flexibility with changing requirements in an evolving and fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, with the ability to work within strict time-frames and under pressure
• Diligent, with good attention to detail
• Effective research skills with an ability to find solutions independently
• Strong communication skills and an ability to build and leverage cross-functional relationships.
• Motivated, with a desire to make Ebury a success
• High level of English.
