A professional services company is seeking a Junior Technical Support specialist in Marbella. The role involves providing Level 0 & 1 support for a global banking platform, handling tickets, and monitoring system health. Candidates should have 1-3 years in IT support and a degree in computer science or equivalent, along with strong English skills. Knowledge of banking and various technical tools is desirable. This position offers a hybrid working environment.

Formación

  • 1–3 years in IT support or similar.
  • Basic grasp of wholesale banking (e.g., payments, loans, trades).
  • Desirable knowledge in various technical tools and languages.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide fast, friendly Level 0 & 1 support for a global banking platform.
  • Handle tickets, log, sort, fix, or escalate issues via ServiceNow.
  • Monitor system health and address critical alerts.

Responsibilities :
  • Give fast, friendly Level 0 & 1 support for our global banking platform (onsite or remote).
  • Handle tickets: log, sort, fix, or pass on issues via ServiceNow.
  • Watch alerts and jump on critical problems.
  • Spot and fix recurring issues in daily jobs and live systems.
  • Work with Level 2 teams and suppliers to solve tough problems.
  • Track system health and flag anything going wrong.
  • Talk clearly to business users – sometimes you’re the only tech voice they hear.
Requirements :
  • 1–3 years in IT support or similar.
  • Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
  • Basic grasp of wholesale banking (e.g., payments, loans, trades).
  • English B2+.
  • Comfortable with monitoring tools and ITIL.
  • Happy to be on-call and support users in different time zones.
  • Desirable knowledge of Python, Elastic Search, Openshit, Appian, API Connect, Oracle, MySQL, PowerBI
