Amaris Consulting in Spain seeks a Junior OT Engineer to join our pharmaceutical & life sciences manufacturing teams in catalonia. You will support the engineering, configuration and deployment of Zenon-based OT platforms across multi-site facilities, contributing to reliable plant operations.

You will collaborate with OT, IT and manufacturing teams, assist in software upgrades and disaster recovery testing, and help maintain documentation while growing your expertise in industrial automation

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in automation/engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience as Automation/SCADA/OT Engineer or similar.
• Experience with OT, industrial automation, SCADA or related manufacturing IT.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Support engineering, configuration and deployment of Zenon-based OT platforms across multi-site manufacturing.
• Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot SCADA/HMI and OT systems to ensure reliable plant operations.
• Assist in software upgrades, migrations and disaster recovery testing for OT platforms.
• Help manage licenses, reusable templates and configuration standards for Zenon and related systems.
• Collaborate with OT, IT and manufacturing teams and external vendors to implement automation solutions.
• Prepare and update technical documentation related to OT platforms and procedures.

Would you like to start a new professional adventure as a Junior OT Engineer in one of our opportunities in the pharmaceutical & life sciences manufacturing industry in Spain?

• Support the engineering, configuration and deployment of Zenon-based OT platforms across a multi-site manufacturing environment.
• Contribute to the maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of SCADA/HMI and OT systems to ensure reliable plant operations.
• Assist in software upgrades, migrations and disaster recovery testing for OT platforms.
• Help manage licenses, reusable templates and configuration standards for Zenon and related systems.
• Collaborate with OT, IT and manufacturing teams, as well as external vendors, to implement and support automation solutions.
• Prepare and update technical documentation related to OT platforms, configurations and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience as Automation Engineer / SCADA Engineer / OT Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience (academic or professional) with OT, industrial automation, SCADA, manufacturing IT or related areas.
• Familiarity with SCADA, HMI or PLC-controlled manufacturing systems and industrial communication protocols.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with COPA-DATA Zenon or a comparable SCADA platform.
• Knowledge of GxP environments and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
