Amaris Consulting in Barcelona is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join an international team. The role focuses on building automated CI/CD pipelines, IaC templates, and security-oriented configurations in SonarQube.

You will collaborate with remote teams, implement DevSecOps practices, and ensure efficient incident remediation while maintaining clear documentation. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in DevOps/Cloud, strong Azure/OpenShift experience, and excellent English communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of DevOps/Cloud engineering experience.
• 3+ years with Azure DevOps including App Insights, Alerts and Logic Apps.
• Solid experience with OpenShift.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, branching, and SAST.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proven track record managing large Azure environments.
• Excellent English, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Based in Barcelona and able to work with cross-functional/remote teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and maintain IaC templates for cloud environments.
• Build templates for SonarQube Advanced Security configuration.
• Configure monitoring and alerting systems and integrate them into pipelines.
• Guide application owners on security configurations within pipelines.
• Verify security controls and remediate vulnerabilities; track remediation progress.
• Provide knowledge transfer through clear technical documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
• 3+ years of proven experience with Azure DevOps, including App Insights, Alerts, and Logic Apps
• Solid experience with OpenShift
• Proficiency in scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, or TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices: CI/CD strategies, branching strategies, and SAST
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Proven track record of managing large-scale Azure environments
• Experience with automation and scripting in enterprise settings
• Good level of English, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Build templates for the configuration of SonarQube Advanced Security
• Contact application owners and guide them on how to incorporate security configurations into their pipelines
• Verify proper implementation of security controls and resolve configuration issues
• Access SonarQube to generate reports on detected security vulnerabilities, assess their severity, and follow up with the relevant teams
• Support teams in identifying false positives and applying the appropriate fixes to remediate vulnerabilities
• Track and report on remediation progress to ensure continuous improvement
• Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and IaC templates
• Develop scripting modules and configure monitoring and alerting systems
• Ensure knowledge transfer through clear technical documentation
• Work closely with cross-functional and remote teams in a fast-paced environment
