Amaris Consulting is seeking a Junior OT Engineer for opportunities in Spain’s pharmaceutical and life sciences manufacturing sector. You will support Zenon-based OT deployments, maintain SCADA/HMI systems, and assist in upgrades and disaster recovery testing across multiple sites.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 0–2 years of OT/SCADA-related experience, with English fluency. COPA-DATA Zenon experience and knowledge of pharma GxP are a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in automation engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience as Automation Engineer / SCADA / OT Engineer or similar role.
• Experience (academic or professional) with OT, industrial automation, SCADA, manufacturing IT or related areas.

Responsabilidades

• Support the engineering, configuration and deployment of Zenon-based OT platforms across a multi-site manufacturing environment.
• Contribute to the maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of SCADA/HMI and OT systems to ensure reliable plant operations.
• Assist in software upgrades, migrations and disaster recovery testing for OT platforms.
• Help manage licenses, reusable templates and configuration standards for Zenon and related systems.
• Collaborate with OT, IT and manufacturing teams, as well as external vendors, to implement and support automation solutions.
• Prepare and update technical documentation related to OT platforms, configurations and procedures.

• Experience (academic or professional) with OT, industrial automation, SCADA, manufacturing IT or related areas.
• Familiarity with SCADA, HMI or PLC-controlled manufacturing systems and industrial communication protocols.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with COPA-DATA Zenon or a comparable SCADA platform.
• Knowledge of GxP environments and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
