Amaris Consulting busca un/a Ingeniero/a de Automatización para liderar la implementación técnica de soluciones SCADA/DCS basadas en COPA-DATA Zenon en plantas farmacéuticas en Barcelona. Se requiere experiencia en arquitectura y gestión de integraciones entre SCADA/DCS, PLC, MES y Historian, con conocimiento de OT/IT (OPC UA).

Será clave la capacidad de garantizar calidad técnica y cumplimiento de estándares, además de colaborar con equipos transversales y viajar regularmente a Europa y América

Formación

• Título universitario en Ingeniería de Automatización u otra ingeniería técnica relacionada.
• 3–5 años de experiencia en arquitectura de automatización e implementación de plantas industriales, con responsabilidad técnica de soluciones.
• Sólida experiencia práctica con plataformas SCADA/DCS, ideal COPA-DATA Zenon, y herramientas tecnológicas relacionadas.
• Conocimiento del inglés a nivel C2; el español y el francés son un plus.
• Capacidad de trabajo en equipo, viajar con frecuencia (Europa y América) y adaptarse a un entorno internacional.

Responsabilidades

• Actuar como Ingeniero de Automatización / Propietario de Implementación Técnica para soluciones SCADA/DCS basadas en COPA-DATA Zenon (EMS, BMS, OEE, Line Manager, Process Control).
• Gestionar la implementación técnica: arquitectura, configuración SCADA/DCS, integraciones, calidad técnica y operación exitosa de la solución.
• Configurar e integrar sistemas SCADA/DCS con PLC, MES y Historian, así como infraestructuras OT/IT (OPC UA).
• Asegurar que se respeten estándares de diseño, plantillas globales y directrices técnicas en plantas de automatización.
• Soportar actividades de commissioning, calificación y validación en un entorno regulado de la industria farmacéutica/ciencias de la vida.
• Depurar sistemas de automatización, realizar análisis de causa raíz e implementar acciones correctivas y preventivas.
• Colaborar con equipos multifuncionales para alinear soluciones de automatización con las necesidades de fabricación y transformación digital.
• Proporcionar documentación técnica, formación y soporte a equipos locales, con 30% de trabajo en sitio en Europa (países francófonos) y 30% en América (principalmente EE. UU.).

Would you like to start a new professional adventure as a Automation Implementation Owner in one of our opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry in Barcelona?

Your missions?

• Act as Automation Engineer / Technical Implementation Owner for SCADA/DCS solutions based on COPA-DATA Zenon (EMS, BMS, OEE, Line Manager, Process Control).


• Own the technical implementation: architecture, SCADA/DCS configuration, integrations, technical quality, and successful operation of the solution.


• Configure and integrate SCADA/DCS systems with PLC, MES and Historian platforms, as well as OT/IT infrastructures (e.g. OPC UA).


• Ensure that design standards, global templates, and technical guidelines are respected across industrial automation plants.


• Support commissioning, qualification, and validation activities in a regulated pharmaceutical / life sciences environment.


• Troubleshoot automation systems, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.


• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, production, quality, IT) to align automation solutions with manufacturing and digital transformation needs.


• Provide technical documentation, training, and support to local site teams, including 30% on‑site work in Europe (French‑speaking countries) and 30% on‑site commitment in the Americas (primarily the USA).

Your profile?

• Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.


• At least 3-5 years of experience in automation architecture implementation and design of industrial automation plants, with technical ownership of solutions.


• Strong hands‑on experience with SCADA/DCS platforms, ideally COPA-DATA Zenon, and related tools/technologies (FlexLink, EMS, BMS, OEE, Line Manager, Process Control, OPC UA, MES, Historian, OT/IT integration).


• Knowledge of English at C2 level; Spanish and French are a plus.


• Ability to work in a team, travel frequently (Europe and Americas), and adapt to a dynamic, international environment.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in pharmaceutical / life sciences projects or other highly regulated industrial sectors would be a plus.
