AG Solution in Barcelona is seeking a Senior OT Project Manager to lead end-to-end industrial digitalisation projects from our Barcelona base, coordinating with international teams and senior customer stakeholders.

You will own scope, schedule, budget, and risk, build credible delivery plans, and ensure site readiness and smooth handovers to operations. The role requires travel and a pragmatic, structure-driven approach with strong communication across IT, OT and engineering teams.

• 5+ years of project delivery experience in industrial or OT initiatives.
• Solid understanding of automation and manufacturing systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS, MES) and IT integration.
• Experience managing vendors, integrators and distributed technical teams with change control.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to communicate with technical and senior audiences.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, IT, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.

• Lead reviews and handovers, capturing lessons learned to improve delivery practices.

Take ownership of complex OT projects for leading manufacturers, working from Barcelona with international teams and senior customer stakeholders. This is a delivery-focused project leadership role for someone who can bring structure, judgement and momentum - not simply maintain plans and report status.

The opportunity

AG Solution is looking for a Senior OT Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of industrial digitalisation projects within global transformation programmes. The initial focus will include OT Applications and Data initiatives, with close dependencies on Infrastructure, Security, engineering teams and production sites.

You will take end-to-end ownership of assigned projects, working closely with AG Solution's Digital Transformation leadership, PMO, technical teams and customer stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. You will have room to make decisions, challenge constructively and grow in scope as the portfolio develops.

What You Will Own

• Lead multiple OT and industrial digitalisation projects from initiation through handover, with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks and quality.
• Build credible delivery plans that reflect manufacturing realities, including shutdowns, testing windows, site readiness, FAT, SAT, commissioning and transition to operations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across OT Applications, Data, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, making dependencies, decisions and ownership visible.
• Act as a trusted operational partner for customer stakeholders, translating between business, IT, OT, engineering teams and external vendors.
• Anticipate issues early, structure options and drive decisions; escalation clearly when resolution requires programme or sponsor intervention.
• Manage requirements, deliverables, change control, readiness reviews and Go/No-Go criteria with the right level of discipline.
• Maintain concise and decision-oriented project reporting, documentation, action tracking and governance records.
• Lead project reviews and handovers, capture lessons learned and help improve AG Solution's project delivery practices.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of project delivery experience, including experience leading complex industrial or OT initiatives in international or matrix environments.
• A solid understanding of industrial production environments and the constraints of live operations.
• Working knowledge of automation and manufacturing systems such as PLC, SCADA, DCS, MES and their integration with enterprise IT.
• Experience managing vendors, integrators and distributed technical teams, including scope definition, design reviews, readiness checks and formal change control.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to facilitate difficult conversations, resolve conflict and communicate with both technical and senior audiences.
• A structured, pragmatic working style: attentive to detail while retaining the wider programme view.
• Professional fluency in English. Spanish and/or Catalan are useful, but not essential for the right candidate.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, IT, business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to travel internationally when project and site needs require it.

Useful, But Not Essential

• Experience in process industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage or advanced manufacturing.
• Exposure to OT cybersecurity, network segmentation, remote access models or industrial data architectures.
• Familiarity with PMI, PRINCE2, Agile or hybrid project delivery methods; PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Experience working across multiple countries, cultures and site maturity levels.
