At TMA, a leading waste management and recovery company, we seek a JUNIOR ENGINEER for our MARPOL Plant at the Port of Barcelona. You will design, plan and optimise industrial installations, driving safe, efficient and environmentally compliant processes.

Responsibilities include technical studies, drawings, plant design, project scheduling, on-site supervision and cost monitoring while promoting Lean practices and cross-functional collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering.
• Chemical Engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare technical and economic studies for new projects.
• Interpret and develop technical drawings and P&IDs.
• Design industrial installations, including flow calculations, equipment selection and technical specifications.
• Plan projects, coordinate resources and ensure deadlines are met.
• Supervise on-site work and manage contractors, ensuring proper execution.
• Monitor project costs, timelines and results.
• Participate in commissioning phases of new installations.
• Analyse and optimise production processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with different departments.
