SOGECLAIR in Getafe is looking for a Junior Fatigue & DT Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to perform fatigue and damage tolerance analyses for aircraft structures. Candidates must have a degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, along with proficiency in English and Spanish.

Formación

• 2 to 5 years of proven experience in Fatigue & DT analysis in the aerospace industry.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (B1 minimum).
• Experience with Aerospace OEM / Tier / Suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Perform fatigue and damage tolerance analyses of aircraft structures.
• Generate fatigue substantiation reports and inspection threshold assessments.
• Support structural modifications and repairs from an F&D perspective.

We are looking for a Junior Fatigue & DT Engineer (m/w/d) with 2-5 years of proven experience in the aerospace industry to join our team in Getafe.

Candidates should be proficient in the following tasks:

• Perform fatigue and damage tolerance analyses of metallic and composite aircraft structures
• Assess crack initiation, crack growth and structural durability with hands-on knowledge of Airbus standards and working practices
• Generate fatigue substantiation reports and inspection threshold assessments
• Support structural modifications and repairs from an F&DT perspective

About you:

• 2 to 5 years of proven experience in Fatigue & DT analysis in the aerospace industry in the aerospace industry
• Degree in (Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar)
• Experience working with Aerospace OEM / Tier / Suppliers on Specific stress activities.
• Languages: English B1 minimum and Spanish fluency

• Patran/HyperMesh
• CATIA V5
• Excel
• Python/VBA (valuable)
• Airbus methods and tools highly desirable
