Job summary

Smart4 Energy is seeking a Software Developer in Barcelona with 2–4 years of professional experience to build software across Python, Rust, React and TypeScript within the energy sector.

You will contribute to backend and frontend development, work with PostgreSQL, APIs and data pipelines, and use Docker, Git and Make in a hybrid environment (60% office / 40% remote). Fluency in English is required. Equity options are available.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Python and/or Rust.
• Exposure to React and TypeScript.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and data pipelines; APIs is a plus.
• Equity options and English proficiency required.

Responsibilities
