Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to join an international team working on AI/ML projects in production. The role requires proven Python ML development skills, experience with TensorFlow/PyTorch, and strong Spanish proficiency, with the opportunity to deploy end-to-end solutions in a global context.

Expect to collaborate across Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and product teams while advancing forecasting, NLP, CV, and Generative AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or similar.
• Strong proficiency with Python for ML/AI development.
• Experience with TensorFlow and/or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of ML algorithms, neural networks, model evaluation, and Git.
• Familiarity with AWS services, Databricks, MongoDB, Airflow, Jenkins, and Big Data tech.
• Proven end-to-end ML project development and deployment in production.
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken).
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.
• Develop, prototype, and deploy AI/ML solutions; create PoCs with Python/Streamlit.
• Design, optimize data pipelines, models, and analytics for scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Participate in forecasting models, optimization, NLP, CV and Generative AI initiatives.
• Implement ML/DL models in production; stay current with trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions in production.
• Prototype rapid PoCs using Python and Streamlit.
• Design and maintain data pipelines and models.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, product teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to forecasting, optimization, NLP, CV and Generative AI initiatives.
