HP SCDS in León, Spain is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join the 3D Data team. You will support data products powering HP's 3D printing business, building pipelines and ensuring data accuracy for analysis and decision-making.

The role offers a hybrid work model and training opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates have fundamentals in Data Engineering, SQL, and experience with relational and non-relational databases.

Formación

• Knowledge of Data Engineering and the fundamentals of building/maintaining data pipelines.
• SQL knowledge and database management skills.
• Knowledge of databases, both relational (e.g. PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g. MongoDB).
• Basic knowledge of Data Quality (data validation and consistency).

Responsabilidades

Junior Data Engineer -- 3D Data Team

Are you passionate about the world of data and looking to take your first steps as a Data Engineer in an international environment? At HP SCDS we are looking for a Junior profile to join our 3D Data team, responsible for supporting the data products that power HP's 3D printing business worldwide.

What will you do?

• Build and maintain the data pipelines required for the correct operation of the team's data products.
• Collaborate with the rest of the team on data ingestion, transformation and validation, applying Data Engineering best practices.
• Support the evolution and maintenance of existing data products, contributing to their quality and stability.
• Help ensure data is accurate, consistent and readily available for analysis and decision‑making across the team.

What are we looking for? (Must-have requirements)

• Knowledge of Data Engineering and the fundamentals of building/maintaining data pipelines.
• SQL knowledge and database management skills.
• Knowledge of databases , both relational (e.g. PostgreSQL ) and non‑relational (e.g. MongoDB).
• Basic knowledge of Data Quality (data validation and consistency).

Nice to have

• Software development knowledge with Python, as the team is migrating legacy software products into data products.
• Knowledge of Data Lake platforms, such as Databricks , Snowflake or Azure Data Lake.
