HP in Spain is seeking a Graduate Data Engineer to help implement best engineering practices and transform data from raw resources into structured, scalable, high‑quality, and compliant data powering HP’s AI‑driven products and solutions.

This role targets recent graduates eager to launch a career in data engineering, offering exposure to cutting‑edge technologies and collaboration within a global team.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, obtained within the last 12 months.
• Hands‑on experience with data engineering concepts and technologies such as Python, SQL, Databricks, Apache Spark, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of data systems, software development best practices, version control (Git), testing, and Agile ways of working.
• Relevant internship, co‑op, or project experience in data engineering, analytics, software engineering, machine learning, or related fields is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive mindset, curiosity to learn, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute as part of a cross-functional team to design and develop secure, scalable data systems and solutions, including ingestion, transformation, testing, and integration of data.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver data‑driven solutions.
• Support operational excellence initiatives focused on reliability, quality, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Help ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, security, and quality standards.
• Participate in evaluating and adopting new technologies, tools, and engineering best practices.
