Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC in Barcelona is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to support Iberia with data analysis and reporting. You will translate business needs into clear dashboards and reports.

You will work with sales, marketing and operations, handling data from Excel and SQL Server, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting and CRM data quality. The role suits analytical, proactive, and organized individuals in a growing veterinary pharma company.

Formación

• This job requires a bachelor degree in CS, economics, finance or a related field.
• Experience with BI systems is preferred.
• 2–3 years in a similar role is ideal.
• Basic data manipulation programming skills.
• Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent commercial networking to grow the business.
• Strong Excel skills are expected.
• Based preferably in Barcelona.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze sell-in and sell-out data across business areas.
• Manage master data (customer and product) for data reliability.
• Validate development requests and improve reports.
• Maintain CRM data and reports (maintenance and updates).
• Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports to analyze strategies.
• Consolidate data from sources (Excel and SQL Server).
• Document processes and support budgeting/forecasting.
• Evaluate data to support decisions by sales, marketing and managers.
• Develop internal relationships with the sales team to understand the market.
• Ensure CRM and marketing connection.
• Provide user support and training for BI tools (Targit, Salesforce, Power BI).

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a key role at Dechra in Iberia as the company is growing fast and data analysis is gaining importance to support business decisions and improvements.

The Data Analyst is ultimately responsible for making available and clear all data necessary to contribute to translate the strategy and plans into clear reports by using relevant data. The tasks and responsabilities include:

• Analysis of sell in and sell out data across all the business areas.
• Management of the source master data (customer and product) ensuring the reliability and veracity of data.
• Validating development requests from the business allowingreports improvement and upgrades.
• Management of the CRM data and reports (maintenance and update).
• Preparation of periodic and ad hoc reports to analyse comercial stategies.
• Collection and consolidation of data from different sources (mainly Excel and SQL Server).
• Process documentation.
• Involvement in budgeting and forecasting process.
• Evaluation and process of the data to facilitate the decision taking from sales, marketing and business managers.
• Develop strong internal relationship with the sales team to understand the market and support them.
• Ensure the connection between CRM and marketing.
• Providing user support services to ensure problems are remediated quickly and effectively.
• Providing training (Targit, Salesforce, BI software) for new users and new functionality for existing users.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

This job might be for you when you have:

• A higher education or degree within the area of Computer science, Economics, Finance, or related bachelor degree.
• Experience of Business Intelligence systems.
• Ideally a minimum of 2/3 years' experience in a similar position.
• Basic programming skills for data manipulation.
• Ability to develop key and beneficial relationships with stakeholders.
• Excellent commercial networking approach to enable the growth of the business.
• Ability to structure and organize effectively and deliver to tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
• Natural leadership skills to lead high performing teams.
• High level of Excel use.
• Knowlegde of SQL/Power BI/Targit/ Salesforce.
• Ideally based in Barcelona.
