Neotalent Conclusion, a leading Iberian specialist in IT and engineering talent, is seeking a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join an international insurance client from its Barcelona office. You will work on password security, incident analysis, and governance initiatives within a large enterprise environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience.
• Experience in systems integration, preferably within cybersecurity environments.
• Knowledge of systems, network, and database administration.
• Hands-on experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, and Active Directory.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and resolve issues identified during password scanning activities.
• Maintain and update troubleshooting documentation and operational procedures.
• Organize and coordinate troubleshooting sessions with network, systems, database, and infrastructure teams.
• Communicate password scan coverage rates and metrics to the password security team and governance committees.
• Analyze the root causes of incidents related to password security and authentication.
• Escalate findings and propose preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.
• Support password strength governance initiatives across a large enterprise environment.
• Act as a technical reference for weak password auditing and prevention activities.
• Contribute to improving security posture through continuous monitoring and remediation.

We are looking for a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our teams and work with an international insurance industry client.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Manage and resolve issues identified during password scanning activities.
• Maintain and update troubleshooting documentation and operational procedures.
• Organize and coordinate troubleshooting sessions with network, systems, database, and infrastructure teams.
• Communicate password scan coverage rates and metrics to the password security team and relevant governance committees.

• Support password strength governance initiatives across a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Act as a technical point of reference for weak password auditing and prevention activities.

What profile are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience.
• Experience in systems integration, preferably within cybersecurity environments.
• Knowledge of systems, network, and database administration.
• Hands-on experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and AS400 environments.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Strong understanding of security risks, authentication mechanisms, and access management.
• Knowledge of hash algorithms and password auditing/recovery tools such as John the Ripper, Hashcat, EPAS, and Enforcer.
• Experience working in large-scale and complex enterprise environments.
• High level of English, both written and spoken.
• Permanent contract with Neotalent Conclusion working exclusively for the client.
