Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Spain is seeking a Junior Cost Manager to support Senior Cost Managers on a range of projects across real estate and infrastructure. You will help prepare cost plans, compile tender lists, and input data into our internal systems.

The role requires a construction-related degree, strong Excel skills, and business-level English and Spanish. You will liaise with clients and contractors, assist with monthly reports, and contribute to cost control and value optimization.

Qualifications

• University degree in construction related engineering or architecture.
• Experience in cost management preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Business level English and Spanish.

Due to growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner & Townsend's Cost Management division in Spain requires a Junior Cost Manager to join our team. the Junior Cost Manager will provide support to Senior Cost Managers on a wide range of projects of all sizes and dimensions.

Assisting the Commission Manager on a range of tasks, to include:

• Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking;
• Estimating and producing cost plans;
• Compiling and amending the tender list;
• Drafting the procurement documentation;
• Checking and analysing the tenders;
• Drafting the tender report;
• Dealing with variations and the change control processes, negotiating less financially significant or complex matters;
• Conducting cost checks and valuations;
• Drafting monthly reports;
• Analysing the numbers for the final accounts;
• Liaising with the client, contractors, designers, etc.
• Preparing presentation materials for client pitches, etc.;
• Inputting key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database

Qualifications

• University degree in construction related engineering, architecture or a relevant a field
• Previous experience in cost management is preferred
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Excel & MS office
• Clear motivation for the construction industry
• Business level English and Spanish language skills
