A leading event technology company in Madrid is seeking a Technical Rigging Planner to manage technical requirements for events. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Architecture, strong skills in load calculations and CAD software, and fluency in Spanish and English. This role involves both technical and commercial tasks, requiring the ability to work effectively with clients and a commitment to teamwork.
For our national and international customers, we have been one of the most in demand companies for the technical implementation of events for 40 years. As one of the market leaders in Germany, we have been offering our customers this experience as a full-service provider in Barcelona since 2021.
Our internationally positioned, multilingual team ensures the perfect technical implementation of events, trade fairs and conferences - from the planning phase to execution and debriefing. In order for these individual projects to be successfully implemented, a team with local know-how, great expertise and a lot of motivation is required. We know very well that we can only be successful as a team and we want to position ourselves accordingly.
The technical rigging planner is the link between the bid team and the technical execution. They plan and calculate the technical requirements for the equipment. In the case of complex constructions, the planner is also involved by the quotation team in advance for a feasibility study. The planner works in mo2, from which they find all the data relevant to his planning. This execution planning takes place in BrcicsCAD. Once the drawings have been successfully created, the planner exports the relevant data to other programmes such as Bridlecalculator, SPX Limits or R-Stab. The planner is able to create load simulations with these programmes. The planners use Bridlecalculator to create the relevant documents for the confectioner to prepare the material. The planner also assists the construction and operations managers with questions.
