Job summary

The Soler & Palau Ventilation Group Parets del Vallès-based CFD Engineer role focuses on designing and optimizing ventilation products and systems using CFD tools. You will run simulations to evaluate airflow and pressure, translate results into actionable improvements, and support HVAC and fire safety installations onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge in Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Dynamics, with the ability to apply these principles to ventilation and HVAC-related applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in modeling and documentation.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize ventilation products and systems using CFD tools.
• Run simulations to evaluate airflow, pressure distribution, and fire-scenario conditions; translate results into recommendations.
• Design HVAC and fire safety installations; set up and run CFD models to verify performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on building projects; prepare technical reports and present findings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of modeling methodologies and best practices.
