Job summary

Diamond Foundry Inc. is seeking a motivated Junior Buyer to support purchasing and supply chain activities in Spain.

You will assist with purchase orders, supplier communication, inventory monitoring, and order follow-up to ensure timely availability of materials and services. You will work closely with the Buyer and Warehouse Lead, maintain records, and contribute to efficient inventory management using ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Degree or education in Logistics, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 1 year of previous experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Good communication, organizational, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems
• Intermediate/Advanced Written and spoken English is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders (POs), ensuring accurate item descriptions, quantities, prices, and delivery dates.
• Communicate with suppliers to request quotations, confirm orders, follow up on deliveries, and maintain good supplier relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels in collaboration with the Warehouse Lead and coordinate the receipt, inspection, and recording of IT equipment and materials.
• Track order status, report delays or discrepancies, and update purchasing and goods receipt information in the company's ERP/MRP system.
• Support purchasing reports, supplier evaluations, price comparisons, cost analysis, and coordination with internal departments to meet their purchasing needs.
