Allianz Technology is seeking a Junior Business Controller to join our finance team in Barcelona. You will support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities, helping to ensure accurate financial tracking and providing analytical support to drive informed business decisions across the organization.

You will collaborate with business units, prepare dashboards, and assist in cost center analyses while adhering to internal policies and reporting standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Excel; PowerPoint skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and GenAI platforms is a strong advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
• Assist in budget planning, tracking, and variance analysis.
• Create and maintain financial dashboards and management presentations.
• Collaborate with business units to consolidate financial data.

About The Job

We are looking for a Junior Business Controller to join our finance team in Barcelona, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities within Allianz Technology. In this role, you will help ensure accurate financial tracking and provide analytical support to drive informed business decisions across the organization.

What You Do

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
• Assist in budget planning, tracking, and variance analysis against actuals.
• Prepare and maintain financial dashboards and management presentations.
• Collaborate with business units to gather, validate, and consolidate financial data.
• Support cost center analysis and identify areas for efficiency improvement.
• Contribute to ad-hoc financial analyses and business cases as requested by senior controllers.
• Help ensure compliance with internal financial policies, controls, and reporting standards.

What You Bring

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis); PowerPoint skills a plus.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Proactive, structured approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
• Up to 1 year of relevant experience (internships or academic projects in finance/controlling are valued).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and GenAI platforms is a strong advantage.
