Job summary

Centralis Group is recruiting a Junior Accountant for our Madrid office. The successful candidate will gain exposure to alternative investment funds and work on a variety of accounting tasks to support financial reporting and governance across structures we service.

The role suits fresh graduates or candidates with first experience in accounting, offering a dynamic, multilingual environment, training support, and a hybrid work model after probation.

Qualifications

• You are a fresh graduate or already have a first working experience, preferably in an accounting firm
• You have good understanding of financial and management accounting
• Experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, knowledge of French or German will be an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility, pro-activity with a can-do attitude
• Strong motivation to work in a quickly growing, dynamic and challenging environment
• Strong analytical mindset and logical thinking

Responsibilities

• Prepare/review financial statements, management reports, budgets and cash flow projections
• Analyse and prepare journal entries. Gain experience with several reporting systems
• Assist with the administration of the structures we service
• Review the work of other service providers (property, asset managers and valuers) and follow up with them
• Coordinate and follow up client meetings and deliverables
• Work with auditors to ensure smooth audit process
