Valid is seeking a passionate Jr. QA Engineer to join their team in Madrid with a hybrid work model. You will be part of the R&D team, responsible for Quality Assurance and Issue Management for embedded system products.

We're actively seeking an experienced Jr. QA Engineer to join our team in Madrid, with a hybrid work model. You will be part of the Research & Development team.

¿What would be your mission within this role?

As a Jr. QA Engineer, you will be responsible for the Quality Assurance and Issue Management for embedded system products (eUICC) in R&D, working closely with development, support, and product teams to maintain high product quality and efficiently resolve issues.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

QA (Quality Assurance):

• Design, execute, and automate test cases to validate system functionality;
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using issue management tools;
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for new features and system enhancements;
• Work closely with development teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve detected issues.

IM (Issue Management):

• Monitor, analyze, and prioritize reported issues from customers and internal teams;
• Coordinate with development, product, and support teams to ensure efficient issue resolution;
• Track issue trends, root causes, and provide insights to improve product stability;
• Establish metrics and reporting to optimize the issue management process.

Required knowledge:

• Skilled in Java programming.
• Skilled in Python development.
• Multilingual communication: Fluent in English and Spanish; knowledge of Chinese is highly valued.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or related field.
• At least 1+ years of previous and proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
• Availability to Travel: Required (not frequent)
• Proficiency in Spanish and excellent written, reading and spoken english to communicate with our global team.
• A good level of Chinese is a plus.
• Strong analytical and teamwork skills
