A leading global mobility solutions provider is seeking a Transport Planner Technician TRAINEE for an internship in Zaragoza. This role requires basic knowledge of transportation practices and logistics principles, along with English proficiency. Responsibilities include coordinating transportation activities and collaborating with logistics providers. The position is full-time, requiring in-person attendance from Monday to Friday.

Business rationale:

Coordinate proper execution of day‑to‑day transportation activities.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day transportation activities.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party logistics service providers to organise truck loads, book time slots at consolidation centres and follow up on the delivery of material.
  • Support the team leader with daily reporting of transportation activities as well as ad‑hoc analysis when required.
Mobility needs you

For this position Schindler seeks people with:

  • Basic knowledge of transportation practices including truck specifications.
  • Familiarity with transportation standard operating procedures, incoterms, export documentation.
  • Transportation experience in logistics or supply chain preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Languages

Understanding of transportation processes and their interfaces with other business functions such as production, warehousing, procurement. English proficiency.

Education

Desired certification or specialised training in transportation or logistics.

Mandatory requirements for the internship
  • Ability to sign an internship agreement with your university or educational institution.
  • Ability to attend the internship IN PERSON in ZARAGOZA from Monday to Friday 8 hours/day (40 hours/week).
  • Immediate start date required: December.
