Job summary

Sanitas is seeking a senior Health & Safety leader to drive the Joint Prevention Service (SPM) across participating companies in Madrid. You will define the Health & Safety strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee the implementation of prevention plans, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires a Medicine degree with Occupational Medicine specialization, 5–10 years of relevant experience, and advanced English.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional experience in Occupational Health
• Proven experience leading and managing teams
• Experience coordinating and planning healthcare and preventive activities

Responsibilities

• Lead the Joint Prevention Service (SPM) and define Health & Safety strategy for participating companies
• Coordinate SPM activities across technical and occupational health functions
• Lead and coordinate the SPM team, managing resources, people and budget
• Define and update internal Health & Safety procedures aligned with legal and corporate requirements
• Oversee compliance audits, reports and regulatory information
• Represent the SPM before Health & Safety Committees and advise employees and representatives
• Collaborate with Wellbeing, Employee Experience / People Experience and Group Health & Safety teams
• Coordinate Health & Safety projects across SPM and Business Unit with HR involvement
