Utimaco Safeware AG in Madrid, Spain seeks an API-focused software engineer to implement, integrate, and document REST API frameworks for GP HSMs. You will design, code, verify, test and document APIs to integrate 3rd party software with Utimaco products.

The role requires 3–5+ years in API development, strong Java/J2EE skills, and experience with OpenAPI and Swagger tools. A university degree in CS or similar is expected, with excellent English communication and a collaborative, agile mindset.

• Expertise in Core Java, Java EE/J2EE.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful web services.
• Experience with Swagger tools or similar.
• Defines specifications and develop programs, prepares test data and functional specs.
• Interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in English.

Your profile

• At least 3-5+ years of experience in developing APIs
• Experience with design and development of REST API platforms using OpenAPI Specification
• Expertise in Core Java, Java & J2ee
• Hands-on experience in web services-RESTful
• Experience with swagger tools or similar.
• Defines specifications and develop programs, prepares test data, and prepares functional specifications.
• Interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient spoken and written command of English.
• Sound knowledge of network protocols
• University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or similar
