Utimaco is seeking an experienced API developer to join our team in Madrid. You will design, implement, and document REST APIs for our security products, using OpenAPI specs and Swagger tools.

You will work with Java and J2EE, ensure high-quality, tested code, and collaborate with global colleagues to resolve API issues. Fluency in English and strong communication are required. We offer a flexible working model and a diverse, collaborative environment.

Formación

• 3–5+ years of API development experience.
• Design and develop REST API platforms using OpenAPI specifications.
• Expertise in Core Java and J2EE.
• Experience with RESTful web services and Swagger tools.
• Defines specifications and develops programs with testing data and specs.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Implement, integrate, and document a REST API framework to make use of Utimaco’s GP HSMs.
• API development: design, code, verify, test and document APIs for integrating 3rd party software with Utimaco products.
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of issues relating to API components.
• Modify existing programs, prepare test data and functional specifications.
• Implement common APIs based on architecture guidelines and frameworks.
• Write object-oriented, clean, and maintainable code.
