This role focuses on managing IT & Telecom sourcing categories across EMEA in collaboration with the Global IT & Telecom Indirect Procurement Team. You will act as the regional procurement expert, driving cost optimization, supplier performance, and strategic sourcing excellence across the IT & Telecom spend.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT & Telecom sourcing initiatives across EMEA, ensuring alignment with global category strategies.
- Own and deliver regional procurement projects, achieving agreed savings targets and service level improvements.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop and execute sourcing and supplier management strategies.
- Drive competitive bidding, tendering, and contract negotiation for suppliers over €100K spend.
- Support and guide local sourcing initiatives (<€100K) across multiple EMEA markets.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and best practices across the region.
- Reduce supplier base and drive spend towards preferred and contracted suppliers.
- Report savings, manage contracts, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent
- 8 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in IT & Telecom strategic sourcing
- Proven track record in managing multi-country procurement projects
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with demonstrated savings delivery
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Proficiency in procurement tools and systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Trackwise)
- Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills
Preferred:
- Experience in a large multinational or matrix organization.
- Knowledge of process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Exposure to supplier risk management and sustainability initiatives.
