Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled IT Systems & Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.
This key role involves providing top‑tier cloud and infrastructure services to TSL Projects users, ensuring quick and efficient resolution of all technical issues.
As an IT Systems & Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for optimising infrastructure, improving operational performance, and ensuring system reliability. This position offers a perfect balance between operational responsibilities and engaging project work. You will oversee and manage the TSL IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. This includes troubleshooting and resolving issues related to infrastructure tools such as Azure Services, Tenable, SonicWall, PowerShell, and Ubiquiti.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud services while also leveraging knowledge of on‑premises technologies to support hybrid and migration environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of IT and the Infrastructure, Cyber Security Engineering, and Support Teams to fully understand the strategy and pipeline of upcoming projects.
- Establish and manage cloud infrastructure and services (including Microsoft Azure) to optimise performance and efficiency.
- Monitor TSL systems and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Provision and configure virtual machines, containers, and storage solutions to optimise cloud infrastructure.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain documentation for procedures and processes to ensure scalability and consistency.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop cloud security infrastructure and implement best practices.
- Work with technical leads and external partners to implement innovative solutions and modernise operations.
Hybrid Environment and Migration Architecture
- Develop and implement migration strategies to modernise legacy systems into cloud‑based solutions.
- Support co‑management scenarios and the integration of hybrid environments.
- Provide support to users at the Madrid Headquarters and project sites.
Cloud Design
- Implement and maintain Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) to strengthen identity management and access control.
- Design secure collaboration solutions using Microsoft 365 services such as Teams and SharePoint.
- Use PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Graph API to automate workflows and optimise infrastructure management.
Disaster Recovery
- Align IT disaster recovery plans with the company’s business continuity strategy.
- Implement, manage, and regularly test the disaster recovery procedures for key TSL platforms.
Cloud Security
- Implement and manage Conditional Access, Endpoint Protection, and compliance standards.
- Apply Zero Trust principles, including multi‑factor authentication (MFA) and device health verification.
- Configure and manage cloud‑based Advanced Threat Protection.
- Implement and manage Intune for laptop devices.
Network Infrastructure
- Manage and maintain WAN / LAN network infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain firewall rules and security settings.
- Manage wireless access solutions and monitor UNIFI networking systems.
- Knowledge of the ITIL framework is required.
Requirements
Qualifications / Technical Skills
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Microsoft Intune certification
- Proven experience designing and deploying hybrid and cloud‑native infrastructure solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills in complex environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and provide technical guidance.
- In‑depth knowledge of Azure Entra ID, including hybrid identity setups (Azure Connect Sync, AutoPilot, Hybrid Join).
- Experience with on‑premises technologies:
- Active Directory and Group Policy
- File servers and network shares
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and scripting for automation.
- Solid understanding of VPN, DNS, Conditional Access, and security frameworks.

Other Requirements
- Valid driving licence (mandatory).
- Desirable but not essential:
- Experience with Ubiquiti network solutions.

Additional Information
- Based primarily at the TSL Spain headquarters, with occasional travel required (including international).
- Reports directly to the Infrastructure and Cyber Security Manager.
