Assist Digital in Valencia is seeking an IT System Administrator to maintain and optimize multi-user servers and network components. You will ensure uptime, performance, security and reliable operation of IT services while collaborating with a professional, international team.

Requirements include Windows Server 2016/2022, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PowerShell and VMware; fluency in English or Italian; and a willingness to work shifts/on-call.

Formación

• High School Diploma or university degree in a technical field.
• Experience identifying and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2022, AD, DNS, DHCP, and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware) and IT infrastructure.
• Fluent in English or Italian; Spanish a plus.
• Willing to work shifts and on-call; team player with good communication.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, configure and operate computer systems and servers.
• Ensure uptime, performance, and security to meet user needs.
• Collaborate with the team to install or upgrade components and software; maintain security policies.
• Maintain network infrastructure including switches and routers.

IT System Administrator

Who are you?

• You are a High School Graduate or you have a University Degree preferably in Technical Field;
• You are able to identify and resolve both technical HW and SW issues;
• You have Windows server 2016/2022 infostructure knowledge especially Domini, Active Directory, Policy, DHCP, DNS, PowerShell, etc;
• You have the knowledge of infrastructure and virtualization principles (preferably VMWARE);
• You are fluent in English or Italian
• You are a natural problem solver, a team player, able to work and perform under pressure, available to work shift job and work on call shift;
• You communicate in a positive and effective manner
• You are familiar with customer-care department operations

It Is Considered As a Plus

• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2008/2012 architecture and clustering
• Knowledge of Linux Server and Linux environment
• Knowledge of Avaya and Asterisk telephone infrastructures
• Cisco or Microsoft certificates (CCNA, MCSA, VCP)
• An understanding of IT protocols, routing and switching are appreciated;
• An understanding of firewall equipment (Sonicwall/Fortinet);
• You are fluent in spanish

What you are going to do?

• You will be responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems; especially multi-user computers, such as servers;
• You will be responsible to ensure that the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers meet the needs of the users,
• You will be collaborating with the team installing, or upgrading computer components and software; providing routine automation; maintaining security policies; troubleshooting;
• You will be collaborating with the team maintaining network infrastructure such as switches and routers.
